Back at the fraternity house at Sim State University, the ghost of Arianna says goodby. Occasionally, Arianna helped out Caydence and her housemates. The students were so messy, especially after a party. They wren't the cleanest group. And they appreciated Arianna's help.

Even in death, the ever determined Arianna was compelled to complete her last task. The kids never saw her ghost, but who else could it have been who cleaned the house from top to bottom?

When Caydence returned to school, her big sister Bria went with her. Bria was just the support Caydence needed in case she ran into Evan. Her best friend, Emily was there to greet her and the three girls chatted amicably. Both Emily and Bria agreed that the best way to mend a broken heart was to jump back into the dating game and find a new friend. Caydence was reluctant. "But I really don't want to date anybody. I'm perfectly fine on my own. I was fine before I met Evan and I'll do fine on my own now. Why do I have to start dating again?" Caydence just wanted to return to her studies. She had a lot of catching up to do. "Look, you can't sit around and mope. You need to occupy yourself. Trust me, Evan definitely won't be sitting around moping about you. So get back out there. The sooner the better." Emily was determined to see her friend smile again. "Look, we can have a little party. Just us girls. We'll do makeovers. I have the cutest hair style for you." Emily started fooling around in Caydences hair and Caydence playfully slapped at her hands. "Ok, ok, I'll get back out there. Just leave my hair alone." Then it was Bria's turn. "Oh no. A makeover is exactly what you need." The two girls dragged Caydence into the house and started working on her hair. When they were done, Caydence loved her new look. She felt a new confidence. "Perhaps jumping back into the dating game might not be so bad afterall." she said as Bria and Emily smiled and gave each other knowing glances.

Caydence's friends and sister wage an all out campaign to find a new friend for Caydence. Rebeka was particularly thrilled with the idea and called her friend Oscar. Oscar was pleasant and Caydence enjoyed his company until she found out that Oscar was involved in illegal activities and that he had spent most of his youth in a juvenile detention facility. Oscar willingly told Caydence about his past and Caydence let him down nicely. "Oscar, you're a nice guy, but I don't think you and I would be a good match. I think we come from two different places and...and honestly, I'm just not comfortable with that." Caydence couldn't believe that her good friend Rebeka had set her up with the campus drug dealer. How could she? She must know what he's into. He's Rebeka's close friend. But Caydence pushed the whole episode to the back of her mind and decided to ask more questions before agreeing to meet a guy.

The girls in the house, Rebeka, Emily, Kelly and Jane, decided to have a party. It was the easiest way to introduce Caydence to new guys. The party was a blast and Caydence was having a really great time. Her friends had thought of everything. They even paid a fortuneteller to come and read Caydence's aura and reveal her future.

Emily introduced Caydence to Lady Gypsophilia the fortuneteller. "Caydence, meet Lady Gypsophilia. She's very good, she'll tell you everything you need to know about your future. I'll leave you two alone to talk."

Caydence was a little reluctant, but she figured what harm was there to letting this rather strange woman predict her future? It was all just fun and games right? "Ok, Lady G, can I call you that? I want to know about my love life. Am I going to fall madly in love with Mr. Perfectly Rich and Handsome?" Caydence wasn't taking this very seriously.

Lady Gypsophilia took out a floating orb and stared into it. She glared into the sphere so long that Caydence started to become uncomfortable. Then finally she began to speak. "You will be deceived." Caydence knew this woman had no clue what she was talking about. She had already been deceived by Evan who really hadn't wanted her. "Ok, then when and by whom?" Caydence asked. "You will be deceived by someone who is close to you. Someone who you trust. It has already happened. It is happening now." Now the woman was giving Caydence the creeps, but she was slowly being drawn in. Could any of this really be true, she wondered? "And what about meeting Mr. Perfect will..." the old woman cut her off. "Yes, yes. I see. Very soon. He is not perfect as you say, but he will be good for you. You must be open to love or you will miss him." Suddenly the old woman began to shake. Her eyes rolled back into her head and she spoke in a frighteningly unreal voice. "Out of great pain will come happiness. That which you seek will be found, but pain before pleasure." The fortuneteller returned to her normal self, but Caydence was spooked half to death. This strange woman just might be real. Maybe all that she predicted will come true. It was a good reading, but Caydence was a little freaked out. She thanked Lady Gypsophilia and walked back to the house trying to decipher the fortuneteller's cryptic message.

Still deep in thought, Caydence sees Rebeka and Evan talking in front of the house. They looked rather chummy, and neither of them noticed Caydence there. Caydence watched as Evan put his hand in the small of Rebeka's back and pulled her close. Caydence's ex boyfriend and her close friend and housemate kissed passionately. It obviously wasn't the first time. Caydence couldn't believe what she was seeing. How could Rebeka deceive her like that? She was her friend and she knew how badly Evan had hurt her. How could she be with him? How could he be with her? Evan knew that Rebeka and Caydence were friends and housemates. How could he be with her after hurting Caydence so badly? Crying and in shock, Caydence started to run towards the house where she crashed into something big and fuzzy.

It was the school's llama mascot. "Whoa, slow down there. You alright?" he asked while grabbing onto Caydence's arms to keep her from falling. "Hey, you're crying. What's wrong? Wanna talk about it?" Caydence looked up and tried to wipe her eyes and stop the tears from falling. "No, I'm ok." The mascot wasn't blind and he knew something was wrong. "Well, you don't look ok. Usually when a pretty woman is crying that means somebody has hurt her. And it helps to talk about it." The mascot grabbed the long ears of his costume. "I'm a good listener. Look, I'm all ears." Caydence chuckled at his joke. "I'm Elliot, by the way." He held out his hand and they shook. "Hi, I'm Caydence."
"Oh, so YOU'RE the lady of the hour. I wondered when I'd get to meet you. Emily said you were very attractive and nice...and she wasn't wrong." Caydence blushed. "Thanks, that's nice of you to say that."
"No, it's true. And I don't like seeing attractive nice women cry. What's up? Who should I beat up?" he joked. "Actually, I wish I could beat somebody up. Or rather somebodies. I just saw one of my best friends making out with my ex-boyfriend."
"Ooh, ouch. That hurts." Elliot said. "Yeah, well...I just can't believe that they would go behind my back like that. How long has it been going on? I mean was he with her the entire time he was with me?" Caydence looked like she was going to cry again so Elliot put his arm lightly around her shoulder and led her inside the house. "Listen, here's what you're going to do. Neither of them deserve your tears or your time. They were wrong. That's obvious. Ignore them. Right now, they probably think you don't have a clue about them. Don't let on that you know yet. Play it cool. That way you can find out what you want to know." Caydence realized Elliot was right.

For the next hour Caydence and Elliot hung out together at the party. He was so nice and he had a great sense of humor. She was enjoying herself despite finding out about Rebeka and Evan. But it was still in the back of her mind. Finally, Caydence had to do something. She excused herself and went to look for Rebeka. Still, Caydence was determined to take Elliot's advice and play it cool. Pretend not to know anything.

When Caydence got Rebeka alone they chatted like usual. "So Rebeka, you look really happy. You must have met someone." Rebeka blushed a little. "Yeah, I did." Caydence thought Rebeka might just make this easy for her. She put of a fake excited smile "Ooh tell me all about him. When did you meet him?" Rebeka fell for it. "He's sooo fine. I met him a while back, but we didn't get together until a few weeks ago." Caydence struggled to maintain her composure. A few weeks ago Evan had broken up with Caydence and she spent 2 weeks at home in Strangeville getting over from the breakup. That must have been when the scheming wench must have snatched Evan up. That opportunistic bitch. Caydence wanted to scratch Rebeka's eyes out, but she remembered what Elliot had said. Stay cool. "Wow, no wonder I didn't meet this sexy mystery man. I was at home. So what do Emily and Jane think of him?" Caydence knew she couldn't answer that one. "Well, they haven't exactly...they don't know yet. I didn't see the point in telling them. Who knows how long it will last. He's great in bed and that's pretty much the extent of it." Caydence started to choke. They've already SLEPT together?! Caydence had never let Evan get that far. They kissed and made out a lot, but Caydence was still a virgin. Maybe that's why Evan broke it off with her, because she wouldn't put out. "You don't sound very serious about him. Do you know if he's serious?"
"Puleese. He's not serious about me. I already know that. Like I said he's great in bed and his ex-girlfriend wasn't giving him any so we kinda...you know. It works for both of us." So that was it. Caydence's prudishness had cost her a relationship. Would it always be that way? Is there anyone out there who would accept her decision to wait? She felt crushed and defeated. Cadence abruptly ended the conversation and returned downstairs to the party. Rebeka shrugged her shoulders and went out in search of Evan.

She found him in the kitchen. "Hey there lover. Wanna go play?" she asked seductively. "Beky, I shouldn't even be here. What if Caydence sees me here?"
"Oh don't be a scaredy cat. Come on. You know you want me." And he did. So the two crept up the stairs to Jane and Keith's room.

Rebeka locked the door behind them and they quickly undressed. Ten minutes later, Rebeka returned to the party. The plan was that Evan would leave the room several minutes later so they wouldn't be seen together.

But on his way out, Evan ran into Caydence. She remembered to stay cool. "What are you doing here Evan? You made it crystal clear that you were done with me. So why are you at my party?" Evan didn't know what to say. He couldn't admit that Rebeka had invited him. "Uh...I just wanted to check on you and make sure you were ok. That's all."
"Well, as you can see I'm fine."

Caydence glanced at Elliot for support and then got an idea. "I'm very fine thank you. As a matter of fact, I don't need you to come look after me anymore. I have someone else to do that." She pulled Elliot to her side and pretended to be in love. She turned to Elliot. "Honey, this is my ex I told you about." Elliot played along. He nodded to Evan. "W'sup dude?" Then he turned back to Caydence. "Come on baby let's dance. This is our song." But Caydence had a better idea. She pulled on him and said "we can do all the dancing we want in my room. Come on lover." Evan had seen and heard enough. He stormed out of the house in a hurry.

Elliot and Caydence laughed about their inpromptu act and they spent the remainder of the evening talking and getting to know one another. By the time the party was over and only one or two stragglers were there Caydence knew that Elliot was someone who she wanted to spend a lot more time with. And Elliot felt like he hit the jackpot.

The next morning Caydence told her friends all about Elliot. And after Rebeka left for class Caydence told her friends all about Rebeka's deception. They were stunned. "I think we need to kick her out of the house." said Jane. Kelly looked up from her work and said, "You know I never cared for her very much anyway." Emily decided to take a vote and it was then decided that Rebeka had to go.
